An introduction. My name is Jing Jing, I’ve been living in Edinburgh, Scotland for the past year and a half working at the University of Edinburgh as a researcher. I have a B.Sc (Hons) in Anthropology and Immunology from the University of Toronto and a MSc in Health, Community and Development from the London School of Economics. The project I’m working on is a large-scale, multi-method study looking at how to adapt health promotion interventions for ethnic minority groups. As we are nearing the end of the project (well 8 months away), I’m hoping to use this space to discuss some of our findings, scratch your brain for ideas (I hope this okay with you), and share some interesting insights on the complex relationship between ethnicity, identity, health and society.
